The MV Agusta 750 S America is the successor of the legendary 750 S and has been produced since 1975 at the Meccanica Verghera Agusta plant in Samarate in the Italian province of Varese.

The initiators of the development of the 750 S into a more dynamic motorbike in every aspect were the two American MV Agusta fans Chris Garville and Jim Cotherman.

Garville already had a business relationship with MV Agosta (which mainly produced helicopters) and Cotherman was an enthusiastic MV Agusta dealer.

Their ideas and new designs of a significantly sportier design of the Italian four-cylinder immedianntly found favor with the then MV CEO and with the 750 S as the basis for suspension and engine, he succeeded in just 50 days to provide the first prototype for test drives.

Produced in series from the spring of 1975, the MV Agosta 750 S America was particularly appealing due to its distinctively sportier appearance.

With its red (racing) livery, a high-quality buckskin seat, the MV Cockpit-typical round instruments, more displacement (789.7 cc) and 75 hp rated torque with higher torque than its predecessor and a top speed of 211 km / h,  struck the "Miss America" ​​the bridge to the Grand Prix racing machines of Phil Read and Giacomo Agostini.

Today, as then, the beguiling sound of the four cylinders and the four black exhaust pipes makes every motorcycle fan fully enjoy and indulge the nostalgia.
