Located at 2,175 meters above sea level, it is the absolute highlight of Hochgurgl’s ski area. This architectural masterpiece reveals a Motorcycle Experience World that is unique in the world. At the same time, TOP Mountain Crosspoint makes a gateway to the most beautiful route to the south, Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road, being the highest pass road in the Eastern Alps with 60 road bends. A panoramic experience brimming with superlatives!

Vision & Passion
Why a museum at over 2000 m altitude?
It’s fairly simple: where else if not here? The owners and builders, twin brothers Attila and Alban Scheiber from Hochgurgl, are motorcycle aficionados. Their passion for engines was practically instilled by their father, Alban Scheiber senior, a former professional racer and Tirolean tourism pioneer.
Over two decades, the Scheiber brothers have built up one of the most extensive collections of historic motorcycles in all of Austria. In 2016, they created an extraordinary setting for all these treasures at TOP Mountain Crosspoint designed by Michael Broetz – right on the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road, the dream route for motorcyclists.
In 2021, Attila and Alban Scheiber are not giving up. On the contrary: after a devastating fire, they reopen the museum just a few months later – even bigger, more spectacular and more exciting than ever before. With an entire multimedia world of experience including 4D cinema, technology simulations and lots of engine sounds. Here, everyone can experience the fascination of motorcycles with all senses, even without a driver’s license …!
