Motorcycle: Moto Morini GT 175 1956
The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Moto Morini was founded in 1937 in Bologna by Alfonso Morini - a racing driver, mechanic and designer in personal union - was initially mainly concerned with the production of last three-wheeled vehicles.
Immediately after the Second World War, Morini started to build his own motorcycle with a two-stroke engine - the Turismo was born.
Our motorcycle exhibited in the TOP Motorcycle Museum is a Gran Turismo 175 from 1956 with a single-cylinder four-stroke engine is a roadworthy version of the Moto Morini Settebello 175 - a very successful racing bike at that time.
Among other things, motorcycle legend Giacomo Agostini drove a Settebello 175 in his early days as a racing driver!
